Parking for Juniors (Rising Seniors 2010-2011)

1. Parking Applications will be available for rising Seniors May 3 thru May 14.

2. Parking Spaces are mainly assigned according to the following priorities: if the student is required to leave school as part of his school day such as Grayson, Peer Leading & Joint Enrollment, and then by GPA, and attendance. Student athletes are put in the mix with everyone else, meaning just because they are an athlete doesn't mean they get to park closer to the building, the same goes for students who are out-of-district.

3. During these two weeks, all students are "in the same boat." They don't need to rush to try to return the application that very first day. Spaces are assigned as mentioned above - NOT because they were the first to turn in the application.

4. CHECK or MONEY ORDER must be included when application is turned in for $70.00, as well as copies of driver's license & vehicle insurance. The 12th Grade office will not be making these copies for them. NOTE: Cash is not accepted, payment must be by check or money order only.

5. Students may apply for parking if they only have their learner's permit right now and are getting their license over the summer. The permit will be held until proof of driver's license is shown - this way their space can be held.

6. Parking Applications must be completed in full, or they will not be accepted. They need to have a copy of their driver's license (or learner's permit), a copy of the vehicle insurance, the check or money order, and it MUST be signed by a parent/guardian.

7. Parking Applications will not be accepted during the summer in the Main Office. Students need to either turn them in no later than May 21st - or wait until the last week in July, when the 12th grade office reopens.
