Banner Competition

1 banner per class
Banner should reflect Collins Hill Spirit and Football Game.
Banners to be created by members (coordinated by Senior/Junior Cabinet and Sophomore/Freshman representatives from SGA).
Banners are put up at the fieldhouse on Friday immediately after school until 4 p.m.
They are displayed by the fieldhouse.

Community Service Competition

In conjunction with the Dream Team and the Volunteer Center - we will be collecting Pajamas for Sheltering Arms - All contributions are to be taken to the Volunteer Center for counting.
Sizes:
9th Grade: 6mths - 18 mths
10th Grade: 24 mths - 2 T
11th Grade: 3T - 4T
12th Grade: 5T - 6X

Each competition will earn points for a class: 1st place 4 pts, 2nd place 3pts, 3rd place 2 pts, 4th place 1 pt
The class with the most points from these two competitions will receive ice cream during lunch on September 30th.

Homecoming Court

We will be using Survey Monkey this year for voting - We ask that you allow students to use your classroom computer to complete this task.
The rules:
1. Students will sign onto Survey Monkey by typing in their first and last legal names and their student number.
2. The students will use drop down menus to make their choices for court.
3. Each student may only vote 1 time - if they vote more than 1 time, all of their votes will be voided.
4. Students may only vote for students in their graduating class - based on grade of record in SASI - if they vote for another class - all of their votes will be voided.

Nominations for Court

August 30 - September 3rd ( A link to the survey will be sent to you and will be posted on school webpage)
Students will be able to nominate 2 females and 2 males to be on the ballot.

Court Elections

September 8th - September 15th
From Nominations - we will post the top 10 females and males from each class and students can vote for 1 male and 1 female.

Court will be announced on September 17th - Court will be introduced at the Game and at the Dance.

Music for the Dance

At the time of Court Elections through Survey Monkey: Students will be given the opportunity to request a song for the Dance. This will give them a voice as to what music is played - We will screen for appropriateness.

Ticket Sales

Homecoming Dance Tickets will cost $20
Ticket Sales will take place during all lunches - September 15th - September 21st.
All Collins Hill student must purchase their own ticket and present their ID both at the sale and at the Dance.
Students will be able to purchase ONE ticket for non-CHHS students for $20 - this person must come to the dance with the person that purchases the ticket and must have ID.

SGA Homecoming Service Project

To support the critical situation at Lawrenceville CO-OP - we will be sponsoring a Stop and Drop on Saturday, September 25th from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. We will be asking the community to drive by the front entrance drop off Can Food Items - Our goal is 10,000 cans.
